Not sure if I were a head coach if I'd want the bye week to be as early at week 5, as late as week 9, or somewhere inbetween.

Minnesota has a bye right before playing us...we have Wisconsin. That could be a key factor in the West race.
By the time Iowa's bye comes... our chance to win the West will likely be determined.
