At what point do you start White?

It could also be a case that Fran doesn't want to be too quick to bench one of his starters. I don't think anyone is arguing whether or not White deserves to be starting.. It's pretty clear that he deserves it. But does anyone deserve to be removed from the starting lineup?

But generally speaking, I don't know why you wouldn't start your best players. I think there's something to be said for getting off to a good start, and starting your best 5 gives you the best chance to do that IMO.

That said, I trust that Fran knows what he's doing.

Anyway, I guess I agree that he deserves to be starting, but does it matter how he gets his minutes, provided that he gets them?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If/when things start going wrong, feel free to question all you want. It just seems ridiculous to question something that's working so well right now.

Good. Seriously, it's like if the football team won the national championship in 2009, but we b*tched about how DJK should have been a starter. We're having the kind of success we haven't had in years, and we want to shake things up. Makes no sense.
 
the thread is titled at what point do you start White. There is no doubt that at some point he will start. This thread isn't about questioning Frans decisions, its about guessing when Fran will make the change that is almost certainly going to be made

From the sounds of things the reason we are winning is because White is not starting. So by that logic he won't start at all this year because we won't lose as long as we don't start White

No, the reason we're winning is because we're playing better defense and have a rotation that's working. Fran will change the rotation when he feels it's necessary, and I don't think we've been given reason to doubt him at this point.

It was a very nice move, Eddy. I like Eric shooting the ball or taking it to the basket without hesitation. Now he is starting to make some shots which is a bonus. His floor play last night was very good.
 
He has to start next year, doesn't he?

Why not establish that now..... monitor his minutes if he doesn't have the stamina.

Him starting is just as much about the future as it is right now IMO

I agree but it isn't even about that for me. He is the best frickin' player on the floor most of the time. Why start off tonight down ten immediately? He comes in the game and has an immediate impact. Give him a rest every now and then and get him back in the damn game.
