Mid-major coach coaching like a Mid-major coach is obvious. There's probably a reason why you don't get a big conference chance in the first 20 years of your coaching career.

Whoa there. The last 6 haven't been fun but overall the program has improved 4 year in a row. Record may be the same as last year but we've been FAR more competitive in the losses.
I am not pleased with the slide, but overall I'm dang happy to be heading to the dance.
Fran gets one more year to A) Stop scheduling a cupcake preseason B) Coach this team to compete as if they are in one of (if not the) top conference in the nation and C) spend very little energy swearing at refs and instead spend said energy swearing/ motivating our boys in a constructive as opposed to demeaning way. After one more year I start to lose respect.
Anything less than this and my humble opinion says we may be near the peak of the rise for Fran. As a fan, I would love to be wrong on this.

Hawk fans have a tough time facing reality. The reality is this team hasn't improved much from last year. And who is the CEO of player development? You got it Fran the Man.

When Fran was hired I was willing to give him 4 years to get the Hawks back in the NCAA tournament. Unless they win on Thursday, that won't happen.
I have been a Fran supporter from Day 1.....but that support is wavering. I am very disappointed in the job he has done down the stretch. I am also disappointed in the players. I don't know what happened, but they look like they have given up. Either that or Fran has them wound so tight they have forgotten how to play their brand of basketball.

The complete inability of Fran's in-game coaching is almost to the point where it hurts to laugh.
Mind-boggling substitution pattern.
Panic in everyone's eye in the last 5 minutes of the game.
Inability to call a timeout at any point throughout the game to change the momentum.
Playing zone defense - EVER
Playing a player that is not 6'11" or taller at the C position when we have two very capable players on our roster.

I heard something on KXNO I thought was ********, now I'm re-thinking it. The players emulate their coach. Nothing is ever the coaches fault, refs suck, etc... so you throw temper tantrum. Now the players do the same, it's not their fault. Other teams just have good nights shooting, etc. I've lost the love for Fran.

Not disagreeing to a degree...however one cannot argue with some very glaring facts. We get out coached every 2nd half, we have no solid rotation, we mess with our PG like he was Justin Bieber, our coach is better at sideline theatrics then in-game coaching. I do not think those arguable facts.
