This is the first time I can remember that I welcome a bye week as a fan. Typically, I luv watching the Hawks so much I hated bye weeks. The team needs one each year, but I hated missing a week and it would seem like forever before they would play again. The anticipation. This season doesn't bother me a bit which is a strange feeling. I need a break from watching the disappointment that is the Iowa offense. I never thought I would have the feeling of needing a break from watching the Hawks.

Don't get me wrong. I will be pumped and ready for Ohio St but I am looking for a completely free Saturday tomorrow.
