Whomever Fran hires as his assistants, so long as there is a solid successful recruiting background in each person brought in.
Recruiting is the absolute lifeblood of any successful program in any collegiate sport.
Getting, developing and retaining talented athletes are some of if the most important aspects needed for this program going forward.

I don't know why the assumption is that Forbes won't leave UT. It is not like he is a UT lifer. Pearl has already got his guy that he has had since Milwaukee as his AHC. Forbes has bounced around in the past, and there is no reason to believe a good salary won't encourage him to bounce back home.

Corbin if you know him that well why wouldn't he even listen to an offer from McCaffery for Associate head coach? He would move back home where he has family and probably increase his pay grade by moving to associate coach. I don't know if McCaffery would have any interest but to me if Steve was really passionate about the University of Iowa that this might make sense.

There used to be an actual tree at that intersection (hwy 22 & some county road). It was the only tree around and apparently it was huge. Now they have a back lit green sign in the shape of a tree, similar to a mcdonalds sign.
