I am actually very surprised. I thought he would weather the storm since he put Arkansas back on the map. Of course, the ongoing chatter about it would have been a PR nightmare for the school. And, not sending a very good message to recruits that your 51-year old coach was hanging with a 25 year old.

I gained a little respect for the University of Arkansas and the AD, Petrino should ride out of town quietly, let the waves settle and look for a new job in 2013.. Great coach, not so great of a person.
