Are college teams getting better at blocking field goals?

Or are field goal kickers getting worse at kicking field goals?

I can't remember a season with so many crazy blocked field goals...it seems to me that the advantage the defense has is gained by having an insanely huge interior lineman that just collapses the blocking ie Suh or that "Mount Cody" from Alabama. Im not sure who we had in the middle for the blocks on UNI.

Had this same discussion with my buddies on Saturday after the Bama block. I can't ever remember so many blocked kicks before.
