No, because I know what would happen. Fans and media would talk about it for two (2) years leading up to the actual game; then crap the bed per usual on a national stage. Happens EVERY time!!!

If you're old enough you either love ND or hate them. They used to be the only team on TV EVERY weekend due to contracts. I became something of a USC fan rooting against ND every Thanksgiving (I think that was the matchup). Back in the days well before cable, streaming, etc.

It would be a wonderful win and a very painful loss.

I would like to hear from fellow Hawks on which team would be a favorite of yours to schedule? It doesn't have to be ND obviously. I'm just curious what team gets you as excited as when we play our bowl games.

I personally luv that Iowa has played LSU; Oklahoma; USC; Stanford; Texas; Fla; Tenn; etc. I really get up for those games. Pun intended.

Every since Brian Kelly killed a kid, I have a deep seated loathing of Notre Dame. And I'm Catholic.

Big Ten schools should boycott Notre Dame. No sense giving them quality opponents when they refuse to join a conference.
