Anyone Feel half jealous half happy for UNI?

Heck yeah we are jealous!?! That would be kickass if a #9 seed Iowa beat the overall #1 seed Kansas. Who wouldn't want that after that worst year in Hawkeye history??? That would be awesome. Not just the #1 seed but Kansas too!

Congrats to UNI! Biggest victory in school history.

Ok, 98.5%. Many of them will be at Kinnick going nuts this fall. Trust me. Bandwagaon Hawk fans, maybe. Hate the Hawks, no.
 
0 jealousy here. If the panthers lose in this tourney, it will be just as hard on me as a hawkeye tourney loss. Hawk fan first, but still still pull for in-state schools. This UNI team is really easy to like.

Really? Just as hard? When the Hawks lose, there is a couple days where a grey cloud follows me everywhere. It literally hurts my heart. Had UNI lost yesterday, I would not have cared. Don't get me wrong, I cheer for them, but I really do not care if they lose. I still remember (just a little bit) hearing how great their football team was and how they beat us at Kinnick (but we just got lucky to block two FGs) etc etc etc...

Okay, maybe not quite as hard. I couldn't watch ESPN for a week after UNLV loss in 87.

Couldn't have said it better myself! When the Hawks lose, I too have that grey cloud follow me around for a few days (at least). It was nice to see UNI win but if they lose, it won't effect my day or week any.
As for the football game, I was there, I felt the Kinnick magic and I knew right then it was going to be a special year. Had Stanzi not been injured, I feel we would have made it to the national Championship game, maybe won- if Stanzi didn't get injured and we didn't lose Greene to the nfl, We would have won the whole thing. But you can't take anything away from the Hawks and the year they had. Absolutely amazing and absolutely talented! As for UNI "beating them at home", lol, it's that old saying "SCOREBOARD". Great teams find a way to win and that's what we did.
