Honest question, why do they just stand there for like 3 minutes? Seems super anti-climactic, by the end of Back in Black half the people aren't even cheering anymore.

I didn't get to go the opener so this is my first game of the year. Can't wait to get in the stands tomorrow, even if it is at "the Jack"

its the eve of the iowa/isu game and I have to give the nod to the clone here. I completely agree. I feel like back in black goes too long when they are just standing there. Would rather see them stand in the tunnel, out of site, but on the monitor. Then start walking out as enter sandman starts, stop at the tunnel opening, wait 10-15 seconds for the buildup then swarm.

I saw someone say last year that Kirk likes to have them stand and feel the crowd (almost at a Fever Pitch) waiting for the swarm.

of course I do not have a link, but I swear it was mentioned on here last year
