Anyone else feel like this place is dead?

I'm loving to be out in the middle of rural, plains, and plain spoken Nebraska doing my my best to hold on to my job and get a FEEL for what true Americans think, feel and want things for themselves and everyone.

btw yes I love this "supposed" god forgotten place. Even though Corn Husker country. Some wonderful people... here and there.

Losing the app killed this site for me. I used to be on 5 times a day. Now this is only the 3rd or 4th time since the app was canceled that I've visited.
 
The lack of excitement for the coming game is annoying. Sure we aren't good but there are only 12 of these a year. Might as well enjoy it.

Seriously? You can't use the browser full site on the phone? I tried the app and hated it. Never have trouble posting...not to mention you can see off topic. With the app you couldn't.
 
Having to go to each individual forum to see the new posts as opposed to having them all on one page certainly isn't helping either. It's a poor site design.

Are you talking about the site now? No way! The new site is better than ever to view from you phone. Go to the top and click in the "What's new" button and the screen refreshes and you will see all new recent posts, including off topic and politics if you subscribe to them.

Agree w/this. Much easier to access and post to the forums now using a smartphone browser than it was using the app.
 
iowa won its last game and now its a bye week. a lot of the positive people have left due to the extreme negativity after the CMU loss. most of the negative people have toned it down a bit due to iowa winning so less ammo to fire.

don't worry, no matter what happens this weekend, this place will pick up

+1, but I think the bye week might be the biggest factor.

Apparently site traffic took a hit because not enough people polished the turd that the home loss to Central Michigan was.
 
Maybe because I did not offer one of my universally loved "Three Day Hangover" during the week. I wanted to, but I didn't have enough A material to make it worth my, or your, while. I will however, share teh best zinger I came up with. Hopefully this will keep up site traffic through Friday afternoon.
Micah Hyde got arrested at an Iowa City bar for refusing to leave after they closed. While Hyde admitted it was a bad decision, I have to give it to him for sticking to his principles; He doesn't break things up. Not passes, and not parties. After the cops were called, Hyde attempted to flee the scene but was caught. Again, sticking to his principles, because he's going to try and escape, doesn't matter if he's catching a punt on the 4 yard line, or surrounded by cops.

My thoughts are that he got arrested because he spent too much time reading message boards. I'm sorry Micah, but when the fans asked the team to take "Shots downtown", they didn't mean that.
