I don't think people post as regularly as you think, I noticed this even when there was optimism, like last year. Also, I think people visit/post the closer to game day it gets and Iowa just had a bye week so people may not have had anything to say or speculate until today or Friday.

Don't know 'bout anyone else but been lurking quite a bit for the last 10 days. Not many more ways to argue either side of the fence with the bye-week break. I'd even guess most are holding their breath to finally see Hawks play a "peer" team and get a true measurement of how good or bad they actually are this year.
Don't forget, bball media day and midnight madness is Friday. With far more optimism around bball, I'll be spending a lot more time over there as the season gets rolling.
