Anyone at the game today

Most of us in my section (138) were decidedly against the game going into OT.

Whether we won or not!

How's that for weather-apathy overtaking one's desire for a Hawkeye victory?

if by idiots...you mean knowledgeable fans... yeah. The sideline/game day coaching is pathetic.

All kinds of people were calling out the fake punt, myself included. How does a guy worth $3M/yr and his staff miss it? No excuse

Guess you should put in your résumé for the next coach.

The Hawks were in their punt-safe formation. They just got beat on that play.

A lot of people left at half time. A LOT.
Student section really thinned out and so did the east stands, where the sun was blasting people the whole game.

North and west stands stayed packed. Could see the students had left early though.

Some people thought they heard fans booing Ferentz at the end of the game. Or at least the play-calling. Any truth?

Didn't hear booing anywhere near me.

Iowa was in "punt safe" on that play. I even mentioned that to my nephew when they got into position. I said to him that it looks like Iowa is expecting a fake punt which is a reasonable assumption.

Unlike the Wisconsin game in 2010, Iowa was actually ready for the fake this time.

NIU executed well, Iowa didn't. End of story.

It seems that apathy has set in with the fans. Many people in Section 105 left after the 3rd qtr and the ones around us were talking about same old Iowa. Did Iowa have 100 yards in the 2nd half?

It hasn't been loud in Kinnick since Wisconsin in 2010 which is about the time KF's program turned for the worse.

I did forget to thank the beautiful young lady who sits behind us that decided it was way too hot for clothes. God Bless you and please thank your parents on behalf of Hawkeye Nation.

I thought our outside guy was held, and that's what sprung the runner.

I thought it got somewhat loud in the stadium yesterday. I wouldn't compare it to he levels it had been in the past (vs Wiscy or OSU 2010). I got the feeling that some of the fans around me were thinking it was in the bag. In fact some guy was yelling towards the NIU section when we were up 24-20 ("they must not teach math at NIU"). I was getting nervous at that point.

Ultimately, there wasn't a lot to get loud about in the 3rd quarter.

Pic or it never happened.

What the heck was the deal with the team entering the field? Looks like someone messed up, or the timing was off big time.

Also, not a fan of the new song played on 3rd downs.

Whoever is in charge of the scoreboard messed up so many times, too. Can't count how many times it wouldn't display the down and yards to go.

Yesterday was a fail for everything and it started with the team entering the field. Just went downhill from there.

The student section did thin out a tiny bit, but not too bad. A lot of people were just hot. Add that to the fact we stand the whole game, some of those kids can't take it (I'm a 30 year old army vet) and would rather be drinking.

And I can't attest to the clothes coming off. In my section, there were several in their bras

The heat was tough. Especially sitting in the East stands. The "cooling stations" were a joke. Multi million dollar operation and they can't figure out how to put several large tents with misters. Kinnick, one of my favorite places here on earth, blew it big time as far as accommodating fans.

Those not at the game, here was the entrance.

What was the delay for? It felt like 20 minutes they sat in that tunnel yesterday lol

TV im sure. The refs clearly gave a signal at 8 minutes saying theyd have to wait for 2 minutes before going on to the field. Press box people dun goofed.
