So Riley put up what would be like a top 5 time of all receivers this year? That's crazy talk. It does explain that play against Nebraska he had more though... What was Timmy Dwights 40 time? I'm really having a tough time wrapping my head around that he did. I wonder what a guy like him who doesn't have a long resume how it stacks up against a WR that has stats all over the place in a pass happy offense but runs like a 4.6. There's some Cooper Kupp the NFL Network talks about all the time and is in love with but is slower then dirt and has avg size. If Riley can catch most everything ( I don't remember him dropping many) and can run circles around guys then why shouldn't he get a shot too?

That's good news. When you see him run, he doesn't look like a guy who could run that fast though. Faster than your average Joe, but not that fast.
One of the coaches (either Kennedy or Davis, I think) commented a couple of years ago how MVB runs as well as anyone in the WR room. That was a room that at the time held 2 guys running in the 4.3s (T. Smith and McCarron, though don't know how much faster McCarron has gotten in the past 2 years). That room also contained Willies at the time.

Shame with all the apparent speed at the WR position the last few years we had them all run 3 yard outs, or 8 yard comeback and then stand still.
