Is there any chance with a new OC that we ask Emmanuel Ogwo about returning? Legit track speed at WR spot is something we always complain about. I can't think of a reason a new WR coach couldn't teach him how to run a fade in spring camp. He should be able to see the field right away. He could line up on any obvious passing situation and the defense would have to respect the deep bomb. Something I think we need desperately. I hope they do the same with Marsette if we get him that is.

Ogwo might not come back but I agree that a true freshman with speed should be able to run a deep go route without much training.

Not every track star converts automatically to a football player. I am sure there is a coach out there that thinks they could turn Usain Bolt into a decent receiver.

Well you might be using "convert" a little to judiciously. The kid was a 3 star wide receiver and track star out of Texas. A little undersized at 6 ft 170lbs, But he was reported as 182 out of camp. I don't see any reason to believe the kid doesn't have any receiver skills already. If he's fast he should line up and run deep. Even if you don't throw to him a safety will have to stay deep.
