I'll answer your theory. If we make it to the NCAAs next year I would be thrilled. I certainly won't be b!tching, moaning OR whining about Lick. Making the NCAA tournament is the goal. I have never felt that we needed to win the NCAAs or even make the Sweet 16 but it sure would be nice. My expectations annually are a top 25 program with national recognition. We will have up and down years and near misses for the NCAAs but we should NEVER finish worse than .500 in conference.

With all of that said, I'm a realist. We aren't going from the worst 3 years in history to making the NCAAs. The recruits coming in are good but not game changers. We've seen transfers at the end of every season during the past 2 years so history tells us it's highly probable we are going to see it again.

Now answer my question you pansy.

If the question you're referring to is whether or not Lick would be criticized for Tucker leaving the program, it's fairly evident which way you would be leaning.

Pardon me if I don't think that Todd is telling Anthony one thing while planning to do another. There have been a lot of theories about why Tucker hasn't played and when he might floated around on this board, but you're the first person to say that Lickliter is yanking him around.

Maybe that makes you a trailblazer or pioneer, but I doubt it.

if tucker chooses to leave i'm not going to blame lickliter. i know everyone would like him to play right now, but the guy was sitting in the back of a squad car seven weeks ago. i don't consider it jerking him around to make him wait a little bit to see the floor, especially when he's already on his third chance.

If Tucker leaves so be it. To me that just means that he is unwilling to face the consequences of his actions. Lick gave him a second chance, if Anthony is unwilling to accept it, that is on him, not Lick.

I'm sure you will count this as a slight against Lick. I say he is a stand up guy, he stuck to his guns trying to show a kid that you have to be responsible for your actions. At least he didn't just stick Tucker right back into the lineup to help save his own a$$, like other coaches would have. Good for Lick, no matter what way things turn out.
