Scott Dochterman of the Cedar Rapids Gazette just tweeted

"Iowa's Anthony Tucker will return to practice on Monday, TBA on return to games"

Hopefully he can stay out of trouble and help out his teammates.

Good to hear. He's a valuable asset to this team. I'm also hopefull he gets his "stuff" together.

Well AT got a final chance. Lets hope he makes the most of it and finishes a nice career at Iowa while earning his degree.

Awesome, this team could sure use another guard in the back-court. I'm anxious to see when he'll be playing again...hopefully a week or two?

Talking about this a few weeks ago, my thoughts were mid-Feb. I think that's fair. It won't be a conditioning thing, it will be a "earning your way back on the court" thing.

The last time this happened, he was back on the court pretty quick. I don't think he'll see the floor this weekend, but I wouldn't be shocked if he sees some time against Ohio State.

I don't see it taking that long. Mid Feb would be 3 weeks from now. I can see him taking 1 week in practice running stairs for both punishment and conditioning and getting worked back into the on court rotation within a week and a half.

If I was Lick, Tucker would be spending the next week of practice doing nothing but running the stairs.

One policy of the program (at least from what I have heard) is that running isn't used as a form of punishment. Take that for what it's worth.

The team has been playing hard and competitive in 2010, they also seem to be moving the ball better and quicker, hopefully AT doesn't stall what has been an relatively improving team.

This might be hypocritical, but I hope Lil Lick continues to get minutes. Unlike Payne, he is always thinking pass first which I think really opens up the floor and keeps the offense in motion. Somtimes Payne can dribble a little too much for me and when AT plays point he often jacks a 3 without a single pass. Now, I don't mean significant minutes, but Lil Lick does have a place.

Come to think of it, you are right. I have heard Lick speak about that. There is a reason I am not a coach!

I was just going to post something similiar.. Is anybody else concerned about what affect Tucker might have on team chemistry if/when he comes back? It seems like the team is starting to execute a little better offensively and not take SOOOOO many 3's. Is Tucker going to interrupt that?

You sir, are crazy. :)

They might not use running for "punishment" but they could still use it for "conditioning". My guess is he needs at least 4-5 days of "conditioning" before he gets any real practice action.
