all 3 will be playing pro ball
That might be a stretch. If Abdul Hodge, AJ Edds Jeramiah Hunter couldn't cut I'm not sure these 3 can. I would rather have all 3 of those guys over the current 3. That's just me might be splitting hairs. I hope they play lights out this yr and prove me wrong.all 3 will be playing pro ball
Hopefully the defensive line will be improved enough so that these guys can put it all together and dominate. This is the best post in the thread. Cut and dry. All three of Iowa's linebackers bring something different to the table. Hopefully they can put it all together this year in order to dominate.
All three will have their chance in the pros. I love how they all seem to have a sense of pride in doing whatever it takes for the team. That mentality will serve them well in the future. Personally, I think Morris will be in the NFL the longest. He has a nice combination of attributes that will all serve him well at the next level. He's played a lot of football and I still don't think he's playing up to his potential. When he does it will be fun to watch. He doesn't get the credit he deserves.
He is the worst of the 3 LBs. he is out of position more than the other two. He isn't very fundamentally sound. He is an athletic freak and that is why he gets all the tackles he does but there is a reason he got benched last year. He could make a nfl roster but he will have to clean a lot up. Kirksey is the guy with the best chance because of speed, ability to cover and he is a sure tackler. Kirksey is that LB/safety type that backs up others and plays specials.

James Morris will not make it in the NFL. He's been half the MLB of Pat Angerer.
Last year was tough on the all the LB's because of the defensive line. I think this year we will see more of what we expect them to be.
Kirk claims Morris will play professionally for a long time. I haven't seen it, but he knows more football than I do.
Nice of him to say that. He's slower, not nearly as strong and place with less intensity than Angerer did.
