I watched his new show last night - Big Ten Press Pass - with Derrick Rackley and I thought it was pretty good. Great move by the BTN to get rid of former BADger Troy Vincent, who probably is the all time worst football analyst hired by any network and had zero personality. Herron is much better off with this new lineup.

Did you watch any of the IA ST vs NIU game? I see what you are sayin', though.
 
There was nothing wrong with Vincent. The only knock was that he didn't show much emotion and just seemed dead. I think Iowa fans are upset because he took a couple of shots against Iowa a few times last year and some fans are just bitter.

I didn't have a problem with WHAT Vincent said, it was in the PRESENTATION where he was bad. He's a TV personality/host of a sports program, he needs to show emotion and not seem dead. It was just painful to watch him. He seemed uncomfortable much of the time.

He was disaster and that's why Anthony Herron was added to his program to pick up the slack for him and the reason why Vincent is no longer around. BTW Penn State fans hated him (rightly so) far worse than Iowa fans as it was the running joke every week how much hate mail he got. His "power rankings" were a complete joke.
 
I forgot about his power rankings. He had MN ahead of Iowa at one point in the season and his reason was dimwitted. He may have had MN like at 1 or 2 when everyone outside of Brewster knew they were a joke!
 
Who ever the analyst was doing the OSU game last week needs to go. His analogies sucked. He was annoying. Ended up turning the sound down on him.
 
Why so negative? Look at the bright side... at least the worst BTN analysts are better than the best FSN guys that ISU has to deal with HAHA!!!

Comparing ISU to McDonalds because the colors match HAHA!! What a slap in the face. Not to mention I think one of them even referred to them as the Iowa Cyclones. How dare he get us confused. But seriously it was very apparent those guys did absolutely zero research and weren't even close to being properly prepared. I would certainly be listening to the radio broadcast while watching the game on TV if I was a clone fan.
 
Desmond Howard is, without question, the worst football analyst in the history of ESPN. And yet, he keeps getting more and more air time.

I don't get it. He sucks. And he is a Michigan apologist.
