Another perfect game?

Quotes from Joyce:

"I just cost that kid a perfect game," Joyce said. "I thought he beat the throw. I was convinced he beat the throw, until I saw the replay."

"I don't blame them a bit or anything that was said," Joyce said. "I would've said it myself if I had been Galarraga. I would've been the first person in my face, and he never said a word to me."

Here is the link. Amazing as I watched it live that the kid did not say a word. Everyone on Detroit roster got all over Joyce, except the guy it affected the most. That shows the kind of kid Galaragga is, and makes me wish even more that he would have gotten it.

Cleveland Indians vs. Detroit Tigers - Recap - June 02, 2010 - ESPN

That pitcher needs to be shown all over the TV and on video's to little kids. The way he handled that situation was the best display of sportsmanship I have ever seen! Everyone else on his team was going nuts, the coaches were going nuts. He just smiled and walked back to the mound. That pitcher is a class act and the way he smiled makes me think he knows he will have another shot at a perfect game. He understands people make mistakes. Now if any other major league pitcher would of had that happen to them, there would of been suspensions and tantrums all over. Kudos to that Pitcher, he is a great role model for todays youth.
