Another Nebraska player

Do you think anyone on the Hawkeye football team smokes pot?
Absolutely. To think otherwise is totally obtuse.

Just because they’re football players doesn’t make them any different the rest of the 18-21 demographic. Like at any college campus, some will, some won’t.

Being under the impression that because these 100+ kids are football players somehow scares them into goody goody land is ignorant at best.

As 30-50+ year old guys with families and jobs we need, we may be more apt to hold off to not get in trouble. But these young kids getting miles of high-quality ass, regional fame, money (yes, money), and media attention thrown at them on a regular basis makes them feel like superheroes. A few of them are going to be excess risk takers.

Weed isn't an arrestable offense in Evanston or Ann Arbor anymore. Probably IC as well. You have to have a lot of weed in Evanston to get in trouble.
The point remains, though, that it’s everywhere. Not just Nebraska and yes, it’s in the Iowa football dorms.

NW Iowa, man, Rep Steve King country, which is all you need to know.
Don’t associate me with any politician...left, right, or middle. If every member of Congress and Senate simultaneously got some sort of terminal butt disease I’d do a little jig.

No one runs for office for any reason at all other than personal gain and power. None.

Some are worse than others, but they’re all a bunch of subhuman garden slugs. Call their jobs a “necessary evil” if you want (I don’t have the ambition to argue), but I don’t and won’t admire a single one.

I did not associate you directly or even indirectly with Steve King. iirc i think i was replying to another poster. as far as I know the only connection with u and King is geography of place, a rather big place.

My son and his family moved to the spencer area about 2 years ago. we like to visit them. but it is hellaciously cold and windy in the winter with all that flat terrain. also if u haven't realized it they have Steve King in congress

NW corner my friend. Orange City, Sioux Center, Hull, Sheldon, and plenty of other towns are full of First Reformers and Christian Reformers (they're the same, but different).

Basically everyone around here is Dutch with the last name of Vander De Kromen Boersma Meeteren Plaatstra De Beek.

Lol this cracked me up, my cousins are Van Kalsbeek's

Ever try finding something to eat on a Sunday in Rock Valley?
