Belfort had no clue he was coming to the head with it. A front kick is usually a body shot, no way he expected that.
My buddy who studies kick boxing and other martial arts was telling me about that.
He said a front thrust kick is never ever connected at the head. In fact, most teachers scold students from doing it. You really have to rock back on the your foot to get up there. He definitely was not ready for it.
