Silva said as much in the post fight interview didn't he? I'm pretty sure Silva gave credit to Seagal for working on that with him.

This would be awesome but St Pierre would have to come up to 185 I think. I couldn't even guess who would win this. Hopefully it happens!

Belfort had no clue he was coming to the head with it. A front kick is usually a body shot, no way he expected that.

He really doesn't have an athletic build except for the long arms, but his flexibility is off the charts. He can contort his body to do about anything he wants it to do. Freakish athlete.

Belfort had no clue he was coming to the head with it. A front kick is usually a body shot, no way he expected that.

My buddy who studies kick boxing and other martial arts was telling me about that.

He said a front thrust kick is never ever connected at the head. In fact, most teachers scold students from doing it. You really have to rock back on the your foot to get up there. He definitely was not ready for it.

Your buddy is right on. I was shocked by what I saw. What happened Saturday night was freakish. That knockout will be shown for years.

If Silva would have missed, Belfort would have had a huge opportunity to counter with a big shot.
