I heard that Carver Hawkeye Arena sells good ice cream and it would be something that the family
and kids would enjoy. The lines can get pretty long though at the venders so plan accordingly. Don’t have to worry so much about the blue hairs though as they will be knitting away. I use to knit in my home economics class in high school, but I kept poking myself with the needle. I should have used the thimble.

Carver has a lot of stairs to climb, but I'm fortunate to see a Big Ten basketball game. The parking situation isn't ideal, but this struggle is worth it. When I get to the game, I can sit quietly and watch our boys battle with incredible, unbeatable foes like Wisconsin. Although we won't win those games, I'm proud of our boys, and proud to be an Iowan.

Instead of a regular arm, Carl had been born with a pigeon's wing. The odd thing was, all through his life, no one had ever laughed at his wing-not even the mean kids in school.
