...that GF fiasco last year..... it was me!....shhhhhhhh

I realized that once again, as always, Iowa is a bubble team. At first I was angered in disbelief, embarrassed that Iowa can't beat the likes of Northwestern or Minnesota. Why can't Iowa ever just be a lock for the NCAA? Why always a bubble team? But then I thought, bubbles are fun! Bubbles make children smile. You can blow them, you can pop them. People like bubbles, so I think all is well now.

Generally it is a good idea to shoot the ball when you are wide open. That is unless you are playing hot potato because it is far much better to have slightly singed hands than a warm seat on the bench.

I once poked my cat with a stick to see if he was awake. He wasn't and he woke up and he bit me in the leg. I never poked him again.

Waking up hungover is just a part of life as an Iowa fan on an Iowa board with so many ISU/UNI posters...

I got home from work today after a long week and sat down with a cold beer. It was a beautiful day and the drink facilitated some deep thinking on various topics. Finally I thought about this age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts?

Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts. Well, after another beer, and some heavy deductive thinking I have come up with the answer to that question.

Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby. And the proof is this: A year a so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "It might be nice to have another child." No man has ever thought, "Ya know, I think I'd like another kick in the nuts."

The more I drink the smarter I get. Time for another beer.
