Wrong!! With 4 new freshmen, 5 sophomores and possibly two inexperienced juniors we will be very young even with no transfers!! I'm sure Lick will let us know plenty times next season but hey, at least he can build on that in year five...

We can all assume that Lick is coming back next season and assuming we don't have transfers. What is your expectation for the team?
I'm not talking about BS political soft and cozy answers. What do you expect in terms of W / L and do we make a post season tournament?

I have a hard time, even as a Lick believer, that he doesn't understand the importance of succeeding next season. I think that you would have to be arrogant, see the dictionary and you will see a picture of SA, to not think so. He fully understands.

It was nice to win but no win over Indiana this year is a nice year. They suck
Not knowing the pre-season schedule, I expect a winning non-conference season (2-3 losses) and I expect at least 7-9 wins in Big Ten play and I expect to be in contetention for at least an NIT bid.
Next year is my make or break year and that includes if we have mass transfers after this season. He won't get a break from me for next year if that happens.

Next year Iowa fans SHOULD expect and NCAA berth considering that the Big 10 was weak this year. Lickliter has everything in place that he needs to be successful--upper classmen that are experienced.
There can be NO excuses next year. If he doesn't get into the upper division of the big 10 and an NCAA berth then the likelihood of his "system" working at Iowa is probably nonexistent.
Everyone thought the Big 10 was going to be tougher than nails this year and it turns out that the league was not. The league will probably get four teams into the tournament, maybe five tops. Even with a young team Iowa SHOULD have done better than they did in hindsight because the league was an average league.
Thus, if people want to continue to use the "we were young this year excuse," then there should be NO excuse next year with all the experience Iowa has coming back.
It is time for Lickliter to put up or shut up, quit acting like a little girl with his complaining, and begin putting a winning product on the floor like Iowa fans expect. A .500 season is totally unacceptable with what Lickliter has coming back. He has been telling Iowa fans that ALL he needs is experience. Well, he has it along with depth and there should be no excuse NOT to be in the tournament next year. NONE whatsoever.
It is time to put the pressure on Lickliter and make this guy produce something.

How is this ******** and moaning?
Which do you think is the bigger topic; That we won a game against IU, or that we are setting the all time record for losses.
Regardless of what anyone thought going in, I doubt anyone was expecting the high mark in futility. If you cannot complain about this, what can you complain about?
