Felllas, I've got some serious hawkeye fatigue. Each week I anticipated game day with a certain level of dread. Is the offense going to suck this week? Is this going to be SSDD this year / this week? Fool me once shame on you fool me for a decade, shame on me. I enjoy college football and I just think maybe next fall I'll skip the hawkeye game - just not going to be must-see-TV as it has been forever. But its like a damned car accident on the highway..just gotta look. Ya know?

I think as we get older we prioritize differently. Hey watch Hawks or mow lawn?
Well I know what to expect so let me do something with the grandkids. If I knew I was going to see something refreshing and new maybe I would watch but time passes by to quickly to devote so much time to it anymore and make football my Saturday and Sunday ritual. I was die hard vikings in the day season tickets and all for years. Ben burnt to many times, maybe watched three games this year and even then not the whole game.
