So he'll end up passing Louis Bullock and Steve Smith just depending on how many games we have left in both tournys. He's only gotta avg like 18ish to do that. There's a good chance he catches Mount too he'd have to avg 26 pts over 12 more games to do that. Which we should have a few more games then that even left. Alford seems out of reach but if we play 15 more games he'll have a snow balls chance at that needing to avg 28.6 for it. Nothing would make me happier then dropping him down a peg...

Yes, now that Luka's past 2000 it's getting easier to see where he might end up. Barring injury or the Covid, he seems a lock for the Top 10.

#6 seems very doable, #5 is just 60 points on from there and that seems doable, maybe depending on the number of games played. Alford at #4 is over a 100 more than Mount and that seems a real stretch but, hey, who knows how it will play out. If he could catch Alford Glenn Rick at #3 is only 4 more points. However it ends up, it will be fun rooting for Luka. I feel like he's got some big games still in him, 40 or so.............

What is truly impressive about Rick Mount being #5 is he scored all those points without a three point line and did it in three years as freshmen were ineligible to play varsity sports then.

And he sure as hell didn’t shoot layups.

He also did it at a time when guards were not generally seen as big time scorers. Oh, you had your Pistol Pete's, your Nate Archibald's, Iowa's Freddie Brown. But in Mount's time most of your big scorers were forwards and centers.

On PTI the other day they were talking about Pistol Pete and how unreal he was. No 3 pt line back then either. Best ball handler and scorer college hoops has ever had as far as I'm concerned. Not to mention entertaining. That white chocolate kid from a few yrs ago Jason Williams kinda played a similar free flowing style. Not nearly the scorer but his ball handling and passing was fun and similar

He lost points with no tourney play last year as well, coulda, woulda, shoulda always plays a part.
Good point. If he could have all those games back and if we won some tournament games last year, he would be pushing for 1st all time.

I saw Rick Mount drop 60 on the Hawks, that would've been like 80 with a 3 point line. He was a scoring machine.

When are you going to correct Deon Thomas? Or did he actually have 21,309 points?
