Alford makes final cut for National COY

Washington just put the guy on the end of the bench into the game during the second round of the NCAA tournament. You are beating your opponent so badly that you are able to put your entire team in the game AND now he is at the free throw line.

Washington is just having fun with UNM right now...just having fun. We should feel empathy for Alford and UNM, we know how it feels to get our heads handed to us...the thing is, we weren't ranked number 8 in the country when it happened...oooops!

If Alford wins it it would mean Iowa would have fired/pushed out two of the last four national coaches of the year inside of four years..and I don't disagree with either decision

Yikes! I don't disagree either but it would say something about the difficulty succeeding at Iowa, at least to those not familiar with both situations. Perhaps we need to have an exorcism with Tom Davis on hand to officiate the event at CHA.
