It can not be understated how much of an effect having X stay in-state and help recruit other guys. I know ISU very much wanted Mota...they made Scheelhaase his primary recruiter. I can't remember for sure, but I think Scheelhaase was Breece Hall's primary recruiter.

The uptick in recruiting the last 4-5 cycles has been noticeable. I am not sure what we are doing differently, but it is working. I think the fact that Iowa is consistently getting Top 30, instead of Top 40 classes is a heavy contributor as to why we can consistently lose high level talent to the NFL, but still reload and win 9-10 games even with subpar QB play.

Awesome keep the Iowa kids home. Is the kid from Urbandale next? Black I think is his last name. He looks like an athletic hybrid type. 6'3 220ish projected to be a TE or big WR.
