Ahmad Wagner a Hawk

From article:

A hard-nosed forward who stands around 6’7 but plays much bigger, Wagner is a high-effort guy who really competes on the glass. As a prospect who also starred on the football field, Wagner has a college ready body with good strength and athleticism, which helps negate his lack of height inside at the high major level.

More skilled than he often gets credit for, Wagner is a good mid-range shooter, a strong finisher inside and has continued to improve his skill-set every year he’s been at Wayne under head coach Travis Trice.

Last negative post in this thread, I promise. This "highlight mix tape" definitely screams baller. ;-) love the missed free throws included. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztrT4Ze3JiA

Come to think of it, this is the first recruit in the Fran era that I've been down on. I just don't see it. I understood White, Basabe, Sapp, but this just has me puzzled. No way he plays in the B1G as a PF.

Hes not a power forward. He will be a small forward.

From article:

Wagner is currently unranked, but he's a good athlete and should be able to fit Iowa's up-tempo offense. He finishes strong near the rim and has good size for a small forward at 6-foot-7, 190 pounds. He also excels with his back to the basket and has a good post-game, so he may be able to provide Iowa with some interesting match ups in the half court as well.

I will say that I am very excited for the 2015-2016 season. Will be much more athletic and tough. Gesell and Woody's senior year, plus Clemmons and Uthoff. Season of Big Ten play for TD and then the 2015 class as freshmen. Add more pieces and better talent all around than what current team has after losing an NBA selection. Just don't see this year's team being very good with how good the Big Ten is until Iowa gets the athleticism and toughness in 2015-2016.
