"don't want to see iowa lose to both iowa st and uni in the same year. so my advice to the captain would be this; spread em out 4/5 wide. put jimmy v in the gun where he's most effective. throw it 50x. 4 quarters of hurry up offense. iowa wins.
what the iowa coaches are failing to realize is that ricky stanzi had a long list of quality backs; greene hampton wegher robinson coker etc. naturally teams feared the running game which made ricky very effective in the play action game. jimmy v isn't so fortunate. it cant hurt to try something new stubborn stan (kf). remember last year vs pitt? do that."
 
DJK is National Football league, wait...Arena League, wait...Canadian football league, wait....he's bush league, wait...he's not even in any league.

I bet nobody has thought to mention that "advice" before, to anyone, on a message board or a coaches meeting..
 
Yes it's coming from a guy who we all are getting a bit tired of hearing from. Doesn't make him wrong. Things can't get much worse, from an offense standpoint.
 
lulz...... everything I want to post in response to this DJK quote will prolly get me banned so I'll just say "Interdasting".
 
I think it is safe to say that if this had been KF's game plan all week, the moment DJK said this it changed.

Advice to DJK. Son your 23 years of fame went up in powder and smoke. Time to move along.

Really? MY advice--which, BTW, is much better--is, "Hey, Captain Stubborn Stan, whatever you do, do NOT let JVB throw to anyone but CJF. The worst that can happen with CJF is an INT. With ANY other receiver or back, there's the drop, the drop-slap-off-the-hands INT, the fumble after the catch, the JVB Special INT (where he gives the illusion that he was locked on, but not to the receiver, rather the defender), or the Week One Signature Special, the dreaded sack. No, Captain Stubborn Stan, throw each and every play to CJF through the third quarter. By quarter four, they will be shocked to see a run. The run still probably won't work, but they'll be shocked to see it!"

Wow, he used blow so did our past three presidents. Get over it.

As for DJK, he needs to move on. Im sure it sucks that KF will never forgive him, but personally after that preformance against minny his senior year..... as long as he didnt rape, murder or steal..... I could let alot of things slide just for that minny game alone. cocaine being one of them
