oh I don't think anyone is disappointed by the defensive effort - its the 10 pts in regulation winofthecentury.
Always happy we won but just worried about the inability to put teams away.
I saw that we were outscored in the 2nd half this season 50-7 going into this game...
Well, Phil Parker better come up with more players to rotate into the D-line, more so the defensive tackles. The last two games, LTP and Carl Davis, have played a ton of snaps. You can't do that to these guys...and in my opinion, it's why we wear down late in games. Keep them fresh in the first half. It's a long freaking season. You have to rotate more guys in there. I have to believe that giving a series to Jaleel or someone, would be ok and wouldn't hurt us too badly if it keeps LTP and C. Davis fresh for the fourth quarter.
If they are on the field all day next week, we are going to get killed...we may anyway. At least Stave isn't going to be running around like Colter or Miller. One bonus...we are going to have to gamble with some man to man and let our safeties come up and make plays at the line of scrimmage.
Love the victory but that really needs to get fixed or wont be many more to love.
