Adam Gettis has a video that shows a segment on getting to know rookies. Adam Gettis is featured and talks about himself and how he is fitting in. He credits Iowa and their zone blocking technique as helpful in making his transition with the Redskins. He jokes about his hair being similar to RGIII's and how they're pals now. Adam talks about how he is from Chicago how he used to be a bear fan. His favorite bear of all time was Walter Payton. Current day bear is Urlacher. In his free time he likes to chill and watch ESPN. He may get time in practice as a center as well. Check out the link, but that is the gist of it. Go hawks, glad to see Gettis in NFL. You think he will get any playing time or rotation this year?

Thanks for the love. I scour the internet checking up on our young Iowa Nfl stars. Just a passion ha. I want to find more on Stanzi, but apparently he has been doing very well the past two ota's ahead of Quinn even.
 
By the way.. as Adam mentioned the zone blocking scheme attracted him to Shanahan and I think he will get a great opportunity to contribute early on. He's very athletic as he proved at the combine and coachable so the sky is the limit for him. I wish him the absolute best.

I agree. I think as long as he keeps up the intensity and the mean streak he can have about him, he can get stick his nose in there and do work. Washington was perfect for him being undersized. But, he has the right techniques and as you said, an athletic monster. I think he may get a shot.
