ISU has never and will never accomplish anything in football. Your fan base being giddy about a 6-6 season tells all you need to know about your loser program.

Pretty evenly matched rivalry, IMO. We shouldn't be beating our chests over one win, and we shouldn't be acting like we've been the superior team when this has been an even matchup for most of relevant history. Don't jinx us, guys. This is a healthy, fun rivalry and we shouldn't look down our nose at it.

Uh..don't forget that during that time span, Iowa finished in the top 8 nationally, 4 times in football, went to Two orange bowls and had some pretty big wins over teams from the SEC in other Bowl games.

Hey now back in '02 they beat Iowa at home, '11 they knocked off #2 Okie State. You are saying that doesn't equal Iowa's success over the past 10 or so years? Come on!

Iowa may end up better in basketball this year, but that probably won't be the case next year in football. You always have a disadvantage when you don't have a QB with any D1 experience. That said, whoever starts certainly can't be worse than the last guy, right?
