Aaron White will be a solid NBA player

Iowa used to get all kinds of players in the NBA. Lohaus, Stokes, Payne, Armstrong, Gamble, etc. Not many lately. White will be a Solid 6 year NBA contributor. Knows the game, and is very fundamentally balanced! A Matt Bullard??

I have no idea what the future holds for Aaron but anyone who puts limits on his potential are just being foolish.

slow isnt his problem it is quickness. he isnt very quick. he is long and it helps him make up for his lack of lateral quickness. but he is a frosh he could improve in the next 3 yrs. if you look at him now...no chance he makes it in the pros if he came out. but in 3 yrs it could be a different situation.

Many players who have dominated the B1G never make it, and the small forward position is as flooded with talent as any position there is. There is no way White right now can come close to guarding the small forward position in the NBA and there is no way he could play at any other position with his height/build. He would have to be a world class shooter to earn an end of the bench spot and he was shooting 27% from outside before this game. Really intelligent thread though.

I love me some white, but I bet lebron could beat him running backwards. There are several that he could be compared to speed wise, but I bet a lot of them are faster.

I will reserve my judgement on this. Last year we had people wondering if Basabe would leave early to go the NBA, and now they are wondering if he transfers.

White has a great basketball mind, but he has a long way to go.
