Not here, but definitely at Siena. He'd sit players for wearing hoodies during press conferences and having a bad public appearance. Even if White didn't miss a practice, Fran's not a big Twitter fan so who knows. I don't think there would ever be a Mike Leach style revolt against him, though. He seems more like a Bob Knight disciple though, tough on his players but they appreciate it.

I think the point is that he was suspended for academics not for missing practice because of a plane not getting you back because of snow. It isn't normal for a coach to punish for something you have no control over.

I would look at it this way...aaron white is the 2nd best player on the team and a big time competitor. The only way this keeps him off the court against a top team is if he never makes it back to ic. He wants to beat indiana and I doubt much could keep him off the court.
