Wes Welker said one day Hernandez (new rookie) was trying to watch game film, but couldn't get the projector to work. He asked Wes for help and Wes jokingly said "figure it out yourself rookie." Wes then said Hernandez just flipped out and became verbally offensive and threatening. A beat writer for the Pats also said that Hernandez was nice to him and said he would give him interviews when needed. The writer thanked him, Hernandez then told the writer "but if you ever back stab me I'll F-ing kill you." The writer then laughed thinking Hernandez was just joking, but the writer today thinks Hernandez was very serious abut the death threat.
