He should be a 51% shooter from the field with all of his lay ups. And 76% from the line is bad but it's not good. But you calling me a b-@$ is really mature when I place an opinion on someone. Good players score from the field more than he does is all I'm saying. I think he is decent. I'll adm I was mad when I called him awful (he is not awful) but he has no jumpshot at all this year.

You do realize that you get to shoot free throws because you are certainly going to make the basket if they DON'T foul you. So if you'd prefer, for every 2 FT White has made in his career, just chalk it up as going 1 for 1 from the floor. Now recalculate his stats and get back to me.

Also I'm beginning to smell a Clown troll here....

he can play good D when there's no pressure or things are going well but he's got to be much better in crunch time and when things are going bad.

Okay, but he scores more from the line than a lot of good players.


If you take away what makes someone good, then yeah, he's going to be not good. That's axiomatic, but it's also meaningless statement.
 
So, how about this, if AW goes out and scores 10+ minus his free throws vs OSU on Saturday you all can tell me I'm wrong. Until then my mind is set on him not being a pure offensive player and a lazy defender. I know all you "experts" think otherwise but we'll wait and see. I hope he scores 30 for iowa's sake but he's not that kind of player.

It is calling a spade a spade. Points from the FT line count, because if they wouldn't have been fouled, they make the shot. Please name for me one awful player who gets to the FT line a lot.

you do realize that he had 18 against OSU last time? 8 from the free throw line and10 from the field
 
I don't think he's a Clown troll. Looks like he just got a little meltdownish when we coughed up the lead.
