ABC will feature the corn harvest in this Saturday nights broadcast....I can hardly wait.......hopefully the BIB entrance won't be bumped for this stereotype.

Thanks for the heads up on that! AT ESPN it's probably only a 50-50 bet.
If you don't like corn. Get the hell out of the midwest.

Man i don't get why this still such a major rift in this state--- 33 yrs, i've lived here all my life and yet been lucky to travel extensivley in all lower 48 states---Rural Vs Urban, it's dumb, Iowa is a very lucky state to have in many ways the best of both worlds (minus the land lock variable--no not counting our border rivers) --- i live in Des Moines and get to enjoy a great city life, i can catch an awesome concert on about any night, sip on a martini in a hip place or go to Wong's pizza downtown on 4th and hang out in a place that is as shieck(sp?) as any place you'll find in any major city-- and yet, i can wake up on saturday, go downtown des moines to the country's best farmer's market and then take the little man out to a great vineyard in winterset or go to a great pumpkin farm and spend a day out in the country basking in the country air--- this country folks vs city slickers argument is old and tired--- Iowa is a beautiful state that IMO incorporates the best of country and city..... Just selling the country part our state is cutting the state short of what it is, and just selling the state as an urban mecca is naive..... anyone thought of selling it as a combo package? just saying....
