A Picture Says a Thousand Words

I cant believe the report of a Clemson fan who destroyed his TV I think because of the last second loss. Clemson has been great for 3-4 years and if you dont know that you cant win them all then you better grow up.

Rob, just this once let me launch into a political diatribe. Please please please please please please please.;)

as predictable as Kirk is...he's also a bit of an enigma
He is a very dangerous coach when he is backed against the wall. It just fits his personality. You could tell from the opening kickoff that Iowa was going to compete against Michigan. The intensity of the team and the crowd was unbelievable. We need to duplicate it against Nebraska, another huge game for Iowa

If Hawks were underdogs and played all home games after 5:00, they'd be undefeated at Kinnick

What ever we fans have said about Kirk Ferentz, he is invested and committed to this team. This is not just a job to him.

Yes. But he has dogma, and I wish he would check his old man ego.

You do realize this I why we beat Michigan, right? Stubborn Kirk got Michigan to play stubborn Kirk football. Deace is spot on with that analysis, listen to the podcast he nails it.

The Huddlecast guys also nailed it. Iowa played this same football vs NDSU and lost it. You need to play this game vs Michigan but NOT vs NDSU. It is what is infuriating about KF, don't let the game go there vs lessor teams.

Great pic. It solidifies my stance that while I feel a change is needed, I'm still appreciative of what he's done as a coach. Glad to see a smile and the team celebrate after a season that's been very hard to swallow for those both in and outside of the program.

Photo kind of dispels the narrative that Kirk Ferentz doesn't care and he's lost the team.

If you've ever coached anything, there are few things more satisfying and emotional in life than beating an opponent against overwhelming odds. Undefeated doesn't even compare. That had to be one of his favorite wins ever.

I could completely be on board with that myself if I hadn't experienced the HF early years and the KF of several years ago.

Great win. Great game plan. Lot's of issues. At least the next games are something to look forward too. KF never ceases to amaze me on both ends. I hope he doesn't amaze me in Champaign unless it because he hangs 50 on Illinois.

It's not all about wins and losses. When that becomes the only factor then you become the Penn States of the world and will cheat and try to win at all-costs. I for one can't condone that.
Are you saying that kirk needs boys to be raped to get more wins?

There are plenty of times over the years where I've questioned KFs decision making, game management, conservative/predictable play-calling, and ability to bring in and manage top-flight talent.

However, I never have, and never will, question the man's dedication and caring of the program, the team, its players and the university as a whole.

The picture says it all!

This, Michigan knew they were in for a tough game early in the first quarter. They were looking at each other with question marks in their eyes, later replaced by fear.....

He drew the line at that.
