If he lives up to what they are selling - well, my expectations keep going higher
If all the returning players make improvements over last year and the freshmen can make significant contributions then this should be a very fun year for Iowa basketball.
I expect the freshman to make big contributions - but the luxury is I don't think it completely hinges on that for success. Garza will no doubt make an impact tho.
I hate to be the spelling police, but I’ve seen you post that several times. It’s role, not roll.Wagner when asked about his roll said something along the lines of being ok with playing less if it meant winning more. Of course we all expect these guys to talk the talk - but this seems like a confident bunch.
I hope nobody is taking McCaffery for granted...When you look at where we are now compared to the solar eclipse Lickliter years, it’s really amazing.

Okay sorry, continue thread.

Don’t get sensitive. I misspell plenty on this site (although half the time I blame that on the choppiness of the mobile site).I'm very disappointed to find that you have very good grammar and spelling and are a much smarter, better person then myself. I ... just... don't care.

I don’t worry too much about spelling here but for some reason seeing roll that many times I decided to let you know. Mostly meant as a joke. Continue with roll if you’d like.
I don't think this team misses Jok at all. Not to say he wasn't the best shooter I've ever seen at Iowa, he was. I just don't think this team would miss any scorer. Scoring won't be an issue -Jok was a scorer who played bad defense and was turn over prone, while it's not a plus to lose him, it's also not a negative for a team with this type of fire power.
One thing that gets overlooked quite a bit is Jok's rebounds. He actually finished 2nd on the team in rebounds last year somehow, just behind Baer. Hopefully with Garza/Nunge and a healthy Pemsl the rebounds get figured out a little better
That's very true. For all Joks deficiancies on the defensive end he did go grab boards. Iowa's bigs all have to do a better job than last year at it.One thing that gets overlooked quite a bit is Jok's rebounds.
