A future Iowa Bowl in State?

Monorails are not a good use of money. If they were profitable they would be able to find private investors. So no to the Monorail. The primary capital improvement that I see would need to be increasing the seating capacity of the Uni dome to 20,000 or more. This would put it above some of the attendance totals we see at lower end bowls now.

Nah, you would not need to expand the UNI Dome just get conference tie in with Sun and MAC. There is enough empty seats when the Panthers play, they do not need anymore.

The trick is to hang the big curtains up in front of the empty sections. This improves the acoustics of what crowd is there and hides the empty seats. I am looking at the pictures now and thinking about where to put these 4,000 seats.

edit- The way I see it, if they could wrap 12-13 rows on the elevated section along the end lines this would be close to 4000 seats. I would have to go out there and measure it.

Put one in Jack Trice and call it the Clown Bowl. The tie ins could be last place Big 12 vs the last place Big Ten team. Could Iowa State beat Purdue on their home turf?
