Agreed. You have fewer and fewer programs that use a pro-style as a base offensive set. A number of them are the elite programs that may pass on some skill position players that schools like Iowa would love to have. I'd prefer a QB who is a "pro-style" QB(ie accurate passer) with some athleticism but realize getting both qualities for a school like Iowa is tough. I wonder too how many defensive players want to go to schools where the defense is largely an after thought. A glorified speed bump. How well are you going to be developed when the head coach doesn't even bother to watch defensive game tape?
