Tie-breakers are used to determine who goes to Indy, not final standings. Final standings will have Iowa in a 4-way tie for first, or 2-way tie for second.

What do we win if Wisky loses? My opinion is, if Wisky loses and we end up in a tie for 1st, I wouldn't buy a shirt. You know someone will make them. Sorry, we may tie for 1st place, but that doesn't get us a spot in the Championship game, so forget it.

The bowls definitely won't choose them simply because they have one more win. You could argue that they don't have two quality wins.

It's not first place like I wanted at beginning of season, but it's one heck of a turnaround I didn't see coming to end the year. If Hawks get any kind of tie for first I won't buy the t-shirt but I'll definitely use it as smack talk to my Husker and Clown coworkers

Also, shouldn't the Hawks crack the top 25?

A tie for 1st is not the same as winning the division. Nobody should call anybody a division champion if they don't win the tie-breaker and go to the CCG.

I'm just saying from where Iowa was when the season started and issues at receiver, I'll take a 2nd place West finish. Not sure how they got it turned around and the O-line jelled, but I'll take it.
