2nd half game thread Iowa @ Ohio St

OSU was desperate, at least as desperate as we were for Indiana. And a couple of our wins in the recent four game streak could easily have been losses. When they came out hot from three the end result was predictable.

Talking to wife before game. Explained how Iowa won 4 in a row, they lost 5. Their offense had abandoned them. I predicted a double digit loss for us. No offense or malice intended, but we do seem to bring out the best in bad teams at times.

sucks, but it was an away game, and Sensibaugh had the game of his career.

on to Sparty. Need to steal one from Izzo

They can afford to lose to Sparty. They need to handle their business at home against Rutgers and Northwestern and not shit the bed against Minnesota. Losing to Sparty and Purdue won't do any harm.

Yeah, losing at MSU wouldn’t be a harbinger of doom, but dammit, i love to see Izzo whining as the game is slipping away from him…..

Riley Mulvey is getting better

Don't understand why we don't get the ball to Kris early in the possession

He is usually open to receive a pass on the left side and is ignored

The ball is dribbled and passed on the left where there are no solid scorers

If Kris could get the ball before the opponent D is set, he can take it inside
where he can usually score or get free throws or just nail an open three

I see at Michigan State, Purdue, Wisconsin and Indiana as potential losses

Illinois and Rutgers at Carver as potential losses

That would put us at 10-10 in the Big

And, I believe 18-10 for the season before BTT

On the edge of making The Dance

ya this is why you dont postpone games when you are on a roll....

also that was some of the shittiest defense ive seen in a while... gave up near 60 pts in the 2nd half
Fully agree, instead of a home win with roll on, get a bad road loss.

Not a bad road loss. OSU exposed a huge Iowa weakness. Lack of beef.

Iowa is going to lose most of their games on the road, this game exposed nearly nothing except that it's hard to win on the road in college basketball and it's clear they are capable of playing better.

Lol. Aren't we always. Doesn't it seem like Iowa is ALWAYS a bubble team. Yea, there are outlier years, but more than not it seems like Iowa is always in the bubble team talk.
