This is amazing. Brands is a great coach, and hope he is rewarded by the university for this amazing feat. Let's Go Hawks!
 


Isn't there some sort of "school of the year" award for athletics? BCS Bowl win + Wrestling NC has to = a damn good showing...well, til we - men's basketball anyway...

Feel bad for the Seniors that lost, especially Chad and Ryan because if they were healthy they would have done better. All American is nothing to scoff at though...
 


please dont post that @ CF, even being cordial my 23x thread got deleted. Thought I was cordial for the rivals forum, guess not. great job hawks. guess im glad my UIHC appt is on monday so i can pick up my championship gear.

Will you grab one of the Orange Bowl banners off of the side of Kinnick Stadium for me? I blew my chance when distracted by U of I hotties every time I've tried...:eek:
 






ha, as i assume that sarcasm. as two minutes and two hundred some dollars wasnt enough with the doctor I was planning on incorporating some walking/pictures time around Kinnick into my parking time. although i highly doubt i can deliver on your banner request sans being tracked down, i will try my best at the photo ops. hotties at UI? never:)
 


i guess if saying coach jacksons guys were not offensive enough and glad coach brands was in our corner you are correct. i tried to offer an olive branch and was not good enough there. may not be good enough here either but i have to own that. was my bad.

Shada's, I apologize to you if I caused you any embarassment and to anyone else that may have seen my thread on CF. I didnt believe it was malicious. My mistake, I tried to apologize to those guys but I guess was banned. Please dont let my idiocy take away from the truly awesom accomplishment that was the UI's 23rd national wrestling championship.
 


Shada's, I'm new to this whole message board posting thing, can you tell me how i was less than cordial please? I just would like to know where to begin anew, at least on CF. Thank You sir.
 


its a great day to be a hawkeye and everyone who is needs to embrace this team if we have 5 champs it will only be the 2nd time in history and it is within reach!

with the bball program in the dumps this is something to cheer for in the winter season
