2023 Omaha Biliew

My guess is that our only chance is a repeat of Peter Jok’s High School history, where everyone is in on him, but then he suffers an injury. All the Blue bloods back away and we stick with him.

Hope he gets some really good coaching between here and there.

If Hoiberg can't get a kid named Omaha to commit to the Huskers, he might as well go back to the NBA.

What is the advantage of going to one of these prep schools?

Get on Youtube and watch some of the videos of the prep BBall teams. The level of competition isn't even close to what they can get in most states especially Iowa. If he can develop his game and become one of the better players playing against that kind of competition he can pretty much write his ticket.

It could get interesting as some kids are foregoing the whole college experience and playing overseas for a year and then entering the draft. Don't necessarily agree with it but it is the business of sports now.

If your whole outlook is a 1 and done anyway does it make sense to go make 6 figures across the ocean for a season and play against grown men to hone your game before going to the NBA? Not saying Omaha is like that but with is hype might as well prepare if you can make that decision if it comes to it.
