ND doesn’t belong in the playoff. If Iowa had the exact same record fresh off an ass beating to Ohio State in the B1G Championship Game, no way they let the Hawks in. ND got the brand invitation solidifying that it’s not a playoff, but rather an invitational.

There is no doubt Notre Dame is a good team this year, but CFP? No way. That #4 slot was wasted. Granted, Alabama was likely to beat whoever got that berth, but it would have been nice to see it get handed out on merit.

I didn’t think Notre Dame belonged, they got lucky the first time they faced Clemson with Lawrence unable to play. That was really their only big win.

Don't forget the "Los Angeles Lakers".....started in Minnesota in1947 so the name made sense. Moved to LA in 1960 after Mikan's retirement.... name stuck.

Man, I thought that Clemson was gonna roll OSU, but they got absolutely crushed in the trenches on both sides. Games like that make me glad we have Ferentz and Phil Parker because say what you will, but our guys know how to cover up holes in the lines (unless we have a center who doesn't understand the 3-4 rush package and then the offense gets ugly). Dabo looks like a genius when he has 3 first rounders on the d-line, but when he doesn't have the horses in the trenches, holy smokes.
