That's right, Baseball is Back! The one Men's Program in the U of I actually "Rising" is your Hawkeye Baseball Squad. The Hawks went 2-1 over the weekend to open up the season, losing to a very good K-State team. Should be a solid year for the Hawks and with the top recruiting class in the Big Ten coming in things are looking up! Go ahead and hop on board everyone.
 
7 Straight! That's right, your Iowa Hawkeye Baseball Team has won 7 in a row and is now 7-1 on the young season after sweeping Cincinnati yesterday! Still room for y'all to get on the bandwagon, Hawks are on the rise and good baseball being playing in ICity!
 
9-2 entering the Home Opener! Odd that they are playing AIB after the debacle with the school ending, but I'm glad they're athletes get to play the season.
 
Hawks sweep 19th ranked Hoosiers! Start BIG play 3-0 for the first time since 1994. Heller is doing an amazing job with this team. And team is a great word, no superstars, all playing together!
 
Took the kids to the game yesterday. I hadn't been to an Iowa Baseball game in probably 10 years. It was a good time. Hopefully more people start going to watch and support these guys, as the crowd was pretty thin. It was a Tuesday afternoon game though, so I'm sure some people can't stroll out of their jobs as easy as me.

Looking forward to going to some more games.

Awesome. It was just a non-conference throw in game too vs. a weaker team. The Big Ten games will draw better I think.
 
Iowa took game two of the three game series with Purdue on Saturday. Five and zero to start the conference season. They play again this afternoon.

Edit: I took game three and improved to 6 and zero in the conference.

Maryland won Friday's game 10 to 1 and Iowa won Saturday's game 3 to 1. Maryland is a ranked team and getting at least one road win is big. Iowa now 7 and 1 on the B1G season.
 
Hawks take series against Mary 2-1 with 2-1 win in final game of series.

Big Ten needs to improve coverage of baseball. Now already.
 
Great series, love the fight in this team. Not really any superstars but they play together and are doing the little things to find ways to win ballgames. Definitely a team you can get behind. Agreed on BTN coverage! Enough football coverage its 5 months away!
 
Hawks play Nebraska in a HUGE series next weekend. The Saturday game is scheduled for 3pm, right after the Football Spring Game. Lets have a huge crowd Hawk fans! Fill up the baseball stands right after the football game for a great day of Hawkeye sports!

3-2 win first game on sunday.

Win series vs. Nebby and going for sweep!!!!
