atwood is, like mel, undersized at the 4, but may slide into that role (if we land him) because of utoff and uhl at the 3.

Have to agree. That lineup is not going to put up many points, or deter the opponent from putting up a ton of pts. We need more explosive, athletic players; particularly at the guard spot. And for God's sake will someone please show some of these guys where the weight room is. No excuse for Uthoff, who is 3 years removed from high school to have the frame and strength of an 8th grade girl. Going to need Woodbury to improve greatly too.

That is pretty harsh when we do not know if he takes in a lot of protein and lifts weights but cant put on any muscle and weight

take a look at the bone structure in utoff's wrists and face

he's never going to carry bulk -- that's why he wasn't rated higher in hs

he's a 3 who will always be a little slow on the perimeter but make up for it in length

if he's 230lbs before he leaves iowa I'm the pope

This is an area that concerns me as well. I don't get it.What do they do weight wise?There is not a single physically imposing player on this team. They all look soft. Zach and Basabe look about the same as they did when they were freshman. White has added weight..Just not seeing the physical development......

My projection is one I am actually really confident we will see. I think it will actually end up being the best collection of talent we have next yr.

Starters:
pg - gesell
sg - jok (I believe some players play better off the bench and some are better as starters and some can do either. I believe he will be better as a starter)
sf - Uthoff (same as jok)
pf - white (this fits his skill set better)
c - woody ( him and gabe should add up to 40 min and both should be around 20 min average)

bench
6 - oglesby (he has found his niche and I would keep him there)
7 - olaseni
8 - Dickerson (juco usually are brought in to play and I think he will be our main pg back up)

everyone else
clemmons - I would not be surprised if he transfers.
meyer - I would not be surprised if he transfers.
uhl - redshirt if Meyer stays and we get a juco 4
ellingson - he will play sparingly like jok did except probably a little less.
